The special economic zone of the capital has agreed on cooperation with two free economic zones of Armenia - Alliance and Meghri. This was announced by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky. “The exchange of best practices at the interstate level will give an additional impetus to the development of infrastructure sites and attract investment. For residents of the metropolitan SEZ, this is an opportunity to increase the volume of exported products and enter new markets,” Vladislav Ovchinsky emphasized. Companies localized in the territories of economic zones intend to actively exchange information, participate in joint projects and help each other in finding new partners. “This will create comfortable conditions for work and cooperation between Russian and Armenian enterprises. The Moscow Special Economic Zone is ready to strengthen international cooperation to increase the demand for high technologies and introduce the latest solutions. Many years of experience in the development of high-tech industries will serve as a good basis for building a mutual dialogue,” said Gennady Degtev, CEO of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Free economic zone Alliance was established in 2013, this is the first territory of this type in Armenia. There are concentrated high-tech manufacturers from the industries of IT, electronics, precision engineering, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, alternative energy and telecommunications.
