In the next ten years, the site of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone in Pechatniki will more than double, from 32 to 77 hectares. About a million square meters of premises will be additionally built there, where high-tech enterprises will be able to accommodate. This was announced by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations. Prospects for the development of SEZ Technopolis Moscowsites were presented to potential investors at a road show. "The development of advanced technologies and the opening of new production facilities in high—tech industries in demand is one of the urgent tasks facing the Russian economy. The demand for production facilities with ready-made engineering infrastructure is constantly growing. Thus, the capacities of the site of the SEZ Pechatniki are fully filled — today 130 companies are located there on an area of 460 thousand square meters, more than five thousand jobs have been created. In the next 10 years, we plan to build about a million square meters of premises at the Pechatniki site, which will give additional opportunities for localization," Vladimir Efimov said. Companies will be able to obtain the status of a resident of a special economic zone, which will give them significant tax benefits. For example, they are exempt from paying property, transport and land taxes, as well as customs duties. The income tax rate for such enterprises is only two percent. There are also benefits for the lease of land allocated for the construction of the enterprise, and upon its completion, it is possible to redeem the leased land for one percent of the cadastral value. "48 SEZ resident companies work at the Pechatniki site. Among them are manufacturers of microelectronics, optics, robotics, new materials and medical equipment. For all the time they have been working in the SEZ, they have invested about 20 billion rubles in their development," said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department. According to Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, investors are already expressing great interest in promising SEZ sites. "The special economic zone has been actively developing in recent years. In five years, the total number of enterprises resident in the SEZ of Moscow has almost doubled - from 50 to 91 enterprises. The demand for industrial areas is huge both from those who would like to localize production in the special economic zone of the capital, and from existing residents, whose companies can be attributed to the fast–growing ones," he said. ________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
