SEZ Technopolis Moscow resident has implemented more than 500 industrial communication projects

A resident of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, the developer of industrial communication systems, Concern Goodwin, has implemented more than 500 projects for the company's 25th anniversary. This was announced by Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. "For a quarter of a century, the company has gone from a manufacturer of home phones to a developer and supplier of high-tech wireless communication systems. In total, the company has implemented more than 500 projects for telecom operators, industrial enterprises and corporate customers. Communication systems are successfully functioning at the facilities of the fuel and energy complex and main pipeline transport, oil and gas production enterprises, petrochemical and gas chemical enterprises, in the mining industry, in medical institutions and sports facilities," said Vladislav Ovchinsky. Having started working in the SEZ of Moscow in 2015, the company's specialists started developments in the field of the industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and created the Goodwin-Neva system. It includes the functionality of traditional radio communication, monitoring the location of employees, tracking parameters characterizing the state of a person and the environment using sensors and wearable devices, as well as monitoring the safety of personnel. The system "sees" where the employee is, assesses his condition, a potential threat to his health or life. Deviations from the set parameters are displayed on the dispatcher's screen and allow you to quickly contact the employee, warn about the danger, give instructions on further actions. "The resident, who has already invested more than 100 million rubles in his own production of 1.3 thousand square meters on the site of the SEZ in Printers, has created about 80 jobs. By mid-2022, the Goodwin-Neva system developed by the company has been implemented in 15 Russian companies of various industries. The use of such a system at the enterprise helps to reduce the level of occupational injuries, increase labor discipline, and increase labor productivity," said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The successful development of the company was facilitated by tax preferences available to residents of the Moscow SEZ, as well as subsidies from the Moscow government received to compensate for part of the cost of new equipment and to train new employees. According to Nikolay Kornev, CEO of Concern Goodwin, the company, which is a resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, distinguishes among such enterprises the presence of not only hardware and software developers, but also its own full-cycle serial production.
