SEZ Technopolis Moscow notes the growth of demand for training in professional specialties

More than two thousand students are trained this year at the basic department of the Moscow State Educational Complex (MSEC), located on the territory of a special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow. In comparison with the previous year, their number has increased by almost 200 people. This was reported by Vladislav Ovchinsky, the Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is part of the complex of economic policy and property and land relations of the capital. «In 2022 there are more than two thousand students studying 17 professions demanded in the market. In comparison with the previous year their number has increased almost by 200 people. It is connected with the increased demand for working professions on the part of employers and school graduates. Thanks to the close cooperation with the enterprises the number of internships and practices for students has increased significantly in recent years», – said Vladislav Ovchinsky. Today IT directions are the most popular among young people: information systems and programming, network and system administration, information security of telecommunication systems, as well as graphic design, additive technologies and mobile robotics. «The expansion of production by residents of the Moscow Special Economic Zone and companies operating on its sites, as well as the opening of new enterprises stimulates the demand for young employees. For example, the need for only one cluster - medical equipment and pharma - is estimated at 1500-2000 specialists until 2025. The MGOC base department allows training of in-demand personnel for innovative industrial enterprises of the city. Many programs are tailored to the specific needs of employers.
