SEZ Technopolis Moscow joined the city innovation testing program

The special economic zone Technopolis Moscow has become a participant in the Moscow Government's project for pilot testing of innovations. The advanced infrastructure of the capital's SEZ gives developers the opportunity to test their technologies in real conditions, informed Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for economic policy and property and land relations. The first test at the site of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow in Pechatniki was passed by an energy-efficient development of the Axiom company - the AXIOX power grid computer. The device allows you to significantly save electricity at enterprises and ensure electrical safety. The test results, which lasted for a month, showed that the systems were working properly. “In early September, the special economic zone received a certificate for inclusion in the register of pilot innovation testing sites. All five sites of the SEZ are available for other tests, as well as the production facilities of the resident companies. By joining the project, SEZ Technopolis Moscow will contribute to the development of not only its tenants and residents, but also other city companies that will be able to test their developments in the largest industrial area of the capital”, Vice-Mayor added. The pilot innovation testing program was approved in May, 2020, supervised by the Moscow City Innovation Agency under to the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow. “The city's innovation testing program allows tech companies to put their solutions to the test and gain customer feedback. The most promising technologies in the future can be introduced at commercial enterprises or facilities in the capital. More than 200 technology companies have already joined the project. They have the opportunity to test their developments at more than 80 metropolitan sites. The special economic zone Technopolis Moscow has joined them giving developers additional opportunities to test their technologies in real conditions”, said Alexey Fursin, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow. Testing took place in the form of control measurements and simulation tests in the office as well as remotely through a mobile application. After piloting, the SEZ technicians gave a number of recommendations that will improve the device and make it convenient for future consumers. Now the developer plans to conduct a second test at the production facilities of the capital's SEZ to test the new capabilities of the device. “Today, 180 high-tech companies are localized on the territory of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, over 70 of them bearing resident status. All of them will be able to take part in the city innovation testing program, making the developments of the companies even more effective and demanded. Since 2006, residents of the capital's SEZ have invested almost 32 billion rubles in the development of their industries and created 6.5 thousand jobs for highly qualified specialists. Their products are exported to 30 countries around the world, from Asia to North America”, pointed out Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.  ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ]  and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
