The Proton plant, localized on the territory of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, has established the production of laboratory equipment with sensors of its own design, which are not inferior to foreign analogues. This was announced by Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the City of Moscow. The new development of the Proton plant is used in the construction of contour scanners – special measuring devices for monitoring the contour and roughness of surfaces. "Previously, foreign high-tech sensors were used in them. Now these devices consist entirely of Russian components that are not inferior to imported ones in terms of characteristics and do not increase the final price of the equipment. The company produces 70 units of laboratory metrological equipment of four types per year for scientific and educational institutions. Every year, orders are received from about 30 Russian enterprises," Vladislav Ovchinsky said. In addition to scientific laboratories, the main customers of conturographs are oil and gas and nuclear enterprises, various plants. For example, producing pipes for the oil and gas production sector. Measuring the geometry of surfaces plays an important role in assessing the quality of structures and products. "Today, more than 30 residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ represent the microelectronics, optics and robotics industries. The amount of their investments in the first half of 2022 amounted to about 11 billion rubles. This is almost 15 times more than in January — June 2021, when the figure exceeded 700 million rubles. Recently, at a meeting of the Technoclub of the capital SEZ, the participants once again stressed that it is necessary to develop their own production of equipment, materials and components as soon as possible, strengthen existing capacities, attract all resources in order to strengthen the technological contour of the country as quickly as possible," said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Laboratory equipment manufactured at the enterprise for scientific and educational institutions, scanning tunneling, atomic force and multimicroscopes, as well as profilometers and conturographs based on them for the analysis of surface nanostructures and geometry of the surface of solids have unique technical and operational characteristics that allow measurements both outside and inside parts at great depth, without the need destruction of parts with a measurement accuracy of less than 1 micron. "Proton is currently doing a lot of work on import substitution in the radio-electronic industry. Now the company receives three or four orders for conturographs per year, as foreign equipment is presented on the market.
