SEZ Technopolis Moscow ranks fourth in the IV Rating of investment attractiveness of Russian industrial parks and special economic zones, formed by the Analytical Center "Expert" as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. Special economic zones and industrial parks were assessed according to groups of parameters: management and services, location, cost of production resources, tax and customs benefits. “The rating of investment attractiveness, formed by the Analytical Center "Expert", summed up the work of 121 sites in 2019. The leading positions in the rating of Moscow special economic zone were provided by such services as the presence of a personal account system, the ability to interact with city authorities and development institutions, benefits for income tax, land tax and access to duty-free exports”, underlined the Head of the Department. In this ranking, the capital's SEZ has significantly improved its position in comparison with the previous year, having risen from eleventh place to the fourth. In addition to the main assessment of SEZs and industrial parks, Expert analysts have been forming a sub-rating for the second year in a row, assessing the performance of territories. Under the evaluation are the scale of the activities, the contribution to the regional economy in terms of such indicators as jobs created, the volume of residents’ investments, revenue of residents and tax deductions. Thus, in 2019, 800 jobs were created in SEZ Technopolis Moscow, almost 2.5 times more than a year earlier. The revenue volume of residents increased by 11%, reaching more than 22 billion rubles, and the volume of their investments amounted to 6.6 billion rubles, which is 7% more than a year earlier. As a result, the SEZ has confirmed its strong position among the special economic zones. According to Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow the capital's special economic zone expects to show an even higher result in the rating of investment attractiveness at the end of this year. “The list of services of the Moscow SEZ in 2020 was supplemented by the selection of personnel for work and internships in the companies of the special economic zone of Moscow.
