SEZ «Technopolis Moscow» doubled the production of innovative sports weapons

Company, which located in special economic zone «Technopolis Moscow», has doubled the manufacturing of sporting firearms. The growth is connected with the expansion of the company’s supply geography and the development of shooting sports. This was announced by the head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department of Moscow, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky. «For the first half of 2022, the Moscow company-manufacturer of innovate sports weapons for the first half of 2022 increased the volume of manufacturing of its products twice compared to the first half of last year. Now the venture generates more than one thousand sports pistols a year. Among the reasons for this growth are the expansion of the geography of supplies and the growing demand for the development of shooting sports. In addition, the convenience of the special economic zone, which provides ample opportunities for development, contributes to the strong growth of the technology company», – told Vladislav Ovchinsky. The company-resident of SEZ «Technopolis Moscow» – «Sport Weapon Custom» – is engaged in the design and production of innovate weapon systems and cartridges, conducts research and develops new solutions and samples of components for weapons tuning. In the assortment – pistols and carbines of their own design for different classes of competitions in practical shooting. «This year the enterprise, which since 2019 is located in one of the platforms capital’s SEZ – «Pechatniki», has increased both the volume of production and the number of intra-Russian orders. The company also expanded its product line with three new weapons of their own development, which promotes import substitution in this field. These innovations – sports carbines – are already testing and certifying, by the end of the year they can go into serial production», – said the general director of SEZ «Technopolis Moscow», Gennady Dyogtev. According to the company’s commercial director Dmitry Alekseev, in the future the company plans to develop the export potential of its products and expand supplies for the CIS and Asian countries.
