SEZ TECHNOPOLIS MOSCOW BEGAN TO PROVIDE LOGISTICS SERVICES

The Pechatniki site of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow has begun providing warehouse and logistics services to its residents and tenants. This was announced by the Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky. “Improving infrastructure and transitioning to sustainable consumption and production patterns are the priorities of the Moscow SEZ. A new stage in the development of its ecosystem was the launch of its own Warehouse and Logistics Service at the Pechatniki site. There are more than 100 companies - residents and tenants who need to store products and unload them daily," said Vladislav Ovchinsky. The new logistics service was the first step in the process of a complete reorganization of the logistics system of the special economic zone of the capital. In the future, it is planned to completely centralize the unloading and movement of goods at the Pechatniki site. This will create more comfortable conditions for residents and tenants there, improve the ecology of the territory, organize pedestrian zones, optimizing traffic and storage of products. “The management company of SEZ Technopolis Moscow is doing a lot of work to optimize internal logistics at our sites. In addition to typical warehousing and transport services, we are ready to help enterprises solve other problems. For example, today at the Pechatniki site, services are provided for unloading oversized cargo using special equipment,” added Gennady Degtev, CEO of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. Recently, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation assigned the SEZ Technopolis Moscow a 100% performance rating. The assessment was made on the basis of more than 30 indicators, taking into account, among other things, the profitability of investing budget funds in the creation of infrastructure, the work of government and other criteria. Capital’s SEZ topped the rating of Russian special economic zones of the technology-innovative type for 2021 among about 40 sites in Russia.
