Seven more microchips were added to the register of domestic products by the Technopolis Moscow SEZ resident

The next batch consisting of seven serial microcircuits produced by the resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) "Technopolis "Moscow" has been included in the register of domestic industrial products. said Vladislav Ovchinsky, the Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy. The corresponding conclusion was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. "Expanding the range of chips in the registry will help Russian companies localize industrial electronics based on them and reduce dependence on imported components. The company has already invested over a billion rubles in the development and mastering of new chips for industrial and special purposes,"- said Vladislav Ovchinsky These chips are widely used in telecommunications equipment, electric meters, industrial equipment and consumer electronics. They are part of both consumer electronic equipment and specialized medical, measurement, navigation equipment and robotics devices. "The convenience of the infrastructure and logistics of the sites of the Moscow SEZ contributed to the fact that the resident has been regularly expanding its product line, which already includes more than 700 types of various microelectronics. Thanks to the new microcircuits included in the register of domestic industrial products, the total number of Mikron products in it has grown to 31 items", - said Gennady Degtev, the CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Today, the register of domestic industrial products, in addition to integrated circuits, includes such Mikron products as chips and chip modules for bank cards and identification documents, transport solutions, RFID tags and microcontrollers Evgeny Kuzmin, Deputy General Director for Commercial Activity at Mikron, noted that the microchips are made in popular and massively used types of surface mount packages used in a wide range of radioelectronic equipment.
