A Moscow company from SEZ Technopolis Moscow will become a supplier of components for a racing car. Sergei Sobyanin wrote about this in his telegram channel. This year, the car will take part in the Days of Speed on the ice of Baikal competitions, which have been held for more than 10 years, and will try to set a new national speed record on electric traction. "The Moscow electric car industry is literally gaining speed and this year will present a new development — an innovative engine for a racing car," said Sergei Sobyanin. — It is noteworthy that this is an environmentally friendly car. Only Russian designers and component manufacturers were chosen for it. Among the developers are well—known creators of racing equipment Stanislav Lyzhin and Donat Korolkov. This project will make a significant contribution to modern domestic engineering and will help in solving import substitution problems." The wheels of the Gislaved Nord Frost 200, produced at a factory in the Kaluga region, were chosen for the car. Their use will significantly reduce the development time of the car. Unique batteries for operation in severe frost will be designed and manufactured by the Energia plant, located in the city of Yelets, Lipetsk region. The company Privodnaya Tekhnika will provide a racing car with a lightweight and compact electric drive with a peak power of 30 kilowatts. It is ideal for a high-speed car due to its high specific indicators.
