Rudnevo Industrial Park, located on one of the six sites of the special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow, has won the MUF Community Awards 2023, which takes place within the framework of the Moscow Urban Forum 2023. The victory was awarded in the nomination City for Business according to the results of public voting. This was reported by Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital. This year the competition of the Moscow Urban Forum, which evaluates the contribution to strengthening the image of the capital as one of the leading global megacities, has 14 nominations. The contenders for the MUF Communiti Awards were selected by an expert council, and the winners, whose names became known on August 18, were determined by public Internet voting. In addition to Technopolis Moscow SEZ, three other contestants competed for leadership in the City for Business nomination - MTS StartUp Hub business acceleration program, Lomonosov scientific and technological center cluster, and Mentors' Workshop. As a result, the votes of residents and guests of the capital were given to the sixth Moscow SEZ site. "Today, 18 industrial buildings with a total area of over 120 thousand square meters have been built in Rudnevo. The production of civilian drones, as well as ATMs based on the domestic processor Elbrus, equipment for waste sorting, capacitors and other products has already been established here. In the future, a powerful multiplicative effect of the industrial park is expected for the integrated development of the east of Moscow - more than 15 thousand jobs are planned to be opened here in the coming years", - said Vladislav Ovchinsky. The Rudnevo project was initially created with due consideration of the most comfortable conditions for employees - landscaped public and office spaces, catering points, parking lots, additional public transportation routes. At the same time, high-tech production facilities located on the site exclude harmful environmental impact, and the industrial infrastructure meets international standards. "On the part of investors today there is a high interest in placing production at this site. The residents of the special economic zone of Moscow, which includes the site Rudnevo, are granted privileges in the form of zero rates of taxes on land, transportation and property, as well as customs duties when importing foreign goods", - said the Director General of SEZ Technopolis Moscow Gennady Degtev.
