Rudnevo Industrial Park is included in the boundaries of Technopolis Moscow special economic zone (SEZ). Investors who localise production in Rudnevo can now obtain resident status, which will give them significant preferences. This was announced by Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations. Now investors, who localize production on the territory of Rudnevo, can obtain the status of a resident, which will give them significant preferences. They will be exempt from land, property and transport taxes, and the profit tax rate will be reduced to two per cent. The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia supported the Moscow government's proposal to increase the area of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow. Now new territories in industrial zone Rudnevo with area about 36,5 hectares are included in borders of capital special economic zone. Here they will continue to build an industrial park, which will allow to implement at least 14 innovative projects only at the first stage, until 2026, said Vladimir Yefimov. Territory of Moscow SEZ now covers 260 hectares. In November 2022, Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov signed a memorandum on cooperation to support the development of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and aviation industry, including the creation of the federal centre for unmanned aerial vehicle systems on the basis of Rudnevo Industrial Park. Its residents will focus on developing and creating new models of drones for various purposes, improving avionics and introducing artificial intelligence technologies. A full-fledged test site will be created near the industrial park. The site of Rudnevo Industrial Park will host high-tech productions in the fields of engineering equipment, composite materials, medical products and electrical equipment along with aircraft components, said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow. In 2022, the Moscow Special Economic Zone once again proved its high efficiency in creating new investment sites for localising modern production facilities. The Moscow SEZ once again became a leader in the National Rating of Special Economic Zones of Russia, conducted by the Ministry of Economic Development and ACIT, and the Expert rating of investment attractiveness of SEZs and industrial parks. Also, the Moscow SEZ is one of the first sites in the country to introduce and implement the ESG strategy. Today, the Moscow SEZ includes six sites with a total area of 260 hectares. Here, 90 residents are localized, who occupy about 90 percent of the industrial area of the territories, and more than nine thousand jobs have been created, General Director of Technopolis Moscow SEZ Gennady Degtev stressed.
