In 2022 the residents of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow sold products for 58.1 billion rubles. Among the leaders are the companies of pharmaceutical industry, as well as microelectronics and telecommunications. In total, during the activity of residents of the capital's special economic zone, the proceeds amounted to about 200 billion rubles. This was reported by Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov. "In 2022 the volume of sold production of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow residents increased by 64.8 percent and exceeded 58.1 billion rubles. A year earlier this indicator was 35.3 billion rubles. Among the leaders in terms of revenues are manufacturers of electronic components Mikron, Elvis and Angstrem. Such growth is associated with active import substitution in the microelectronics industry and its state support. In Moscow, the production of electronic components and printed circuit boards in 2022 grew by 27.8 percent. Of the 48 enterprises of the capital's radio electronics industry, 32 of them are residents of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow, - explained Vladimir Yefimov. Last year was also dynamic for the IT and telecom industry - demand for Russian software products and solutions increased significantly, especially in the public sector, where critical information infrastructure objects (CII) were transferred to the domestic software. "Thirteen residents of the IT cluster of the Moscow Special Economic Zone are actively investing in the development of their own production, which has a positive impact on their economic performance. For example, one of the manufacturers of telecommunications equipment, the company "Biforkom Tek" tripled the area of the enterprise in Pechatniki. In April 2023, the company opened 3.4 thousand square meters of additional space, where it continued to develop software and produce various communication devices. More than 70 percent of the production is bought by Moscow consumers, which brings the main volume of their income," - said Vladislav Ovchinsky, the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital. The dynamics of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow enterprises' development is promoted, among other things, by the preferences and privileges, which the resident status provides, as well as convenient logistics and a developed infrastructure. Since the start of their activities, residents of the special economic zone in Moscow have realized production for almost 200 billion rubles. "Last year residents of the capital's special economic zone paid 4.5 billion rubles in tax deductions to the city and federal budgets. At the same time at the expense of tax benefits provided to the residents of the special economic zone, they managed to save about 1.9 billion rubles, which manufacturers have directed to the purchase of equipment, enterprise development and scientific and technical developments," - summed up the General Director of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow Gennady Degtev. Each resident of the capital's special economic zone gets a number of benefits: they are exempted for 10 years from property, land and transport taxes, the profit tax is only two percent.
