Residents of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow saved almost 860 million rubles on taxes in nine months
In January-September 2022, residents of the special economic zone SEZ Technopolis Moscow saved 857 million rubles due to tax preferences. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov. Residents of the metropolitan SEZ are exempt from paying property, transport and land taxes, as well as customs duties for 10 years. The income tax rate for such companies is only two percent. There are also incentives for renting land allocated for the construction of an enterprise, and upon its completion, it is possible to buy a leased plot for one percent of the cadastral value. “Currently, about 90 companies have the status of a resident of the special economic zone of the capital. In the nine months of this year, they saved 857 million rubles on taxes. This is more than double the result for the same period last year, when the amount of benefits amounted to 407 million rubles. The growth is primarily due to the fact that some enterprises have launched production activities or reached full production capacity. In addition, after the withdrawal of Western companies from the Russian market, domestic manufacturers have the opportunity to occupy new niches, which spurred them to develop,” said Vladimir Efimov. Most of the tax preferences that residents of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow receive relate to payments credited to the city budget. In January-September of this year, about 79 percent of the total amount of funds saved by companies fell on regional benefits, the rest - on federal ones. “From January to September of this year, the capital provided high-tech enterprises that are residents of the Moscow Special Economic Zone with tax incentives in the amount of 680 million rubles. This is almost twice as much as in the three quarters of 2021, when the amount of preferences amounted to almost 390 million rubles,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department. Since the beginning of 2022, another 10 high-tech enterprises have received the status of a resident of the Moscow Special Economic Zone. The volume of investments announced by them will amount to almost 10 billion rubles. “The investments of companies that are residents of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow for the first three quarters of 2022 amounted to almost 24 billion rubles. This is two billion rubles more than in the same period last year. The maximum volume of investments by residents of the special economic zone of the capital for nine months of 2022 was recorded among microelectronics enterprises. The amount of their investments amounted to 14.7 billion rubles,” added CEO of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow Gennady Degtev. ________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
