Residents of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow replenished the budget by almost four billion rubles in 2021

In the first nine months of 2021, residents of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow increased tax payments to the budgets of all levels by almost 40%, said Vladimir Efimov, Vice-Mayor of Moscow for Economic policy and Land-property affairs. “Tenants of the Moscow special economic zone for the first three quarters of 2021 paid taxes in the amount of over 3.9 billion rubles, which is 38.7 percent more than in the same period last year, and 23.8 percent more than in the first nine months of 2019. The total volume of tax payments by tenants for the entire period of work in the Moscow SEZ has exceeded 15.6 billion rubles,” said the Deputy Mayor. In the structure of tax benefits received, the amount of which exceeded 407 million rubles in 9 months of 2021, more than 95 percent were tax benefits to the capital's budget. In total, tenants have saved more than 3.4 billion rubles during their work due to tax preferences in the special economic zone of Moscow. “For every ruble of tax benefits provided in the Moscow SEZ for the first 9 months of 2021, there were about 53 rubles of investment,” said Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow.
