Residents of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow created more than one thousand workplaces in 2020

In 2020, residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ created about 1.3 thousand jobs, which is more than one and a half times more than in 2019 said Vladimir Efimov, Vice-Mayor of Moscow for Economic policy and Land-property affairs. “More than 80 companies have resident status in the Moscow SEZ. In 2020, they created about 1.3 thousand jobs, which is 62% more than a year earlier. In total, since 2006 - during the existence of the capital's SEZ - residents have organized more than seven thousand jobs”, stated the Vice-Mayor. Enterprises of the microelectronics, optics and robotics cluster became the leaders in attracting personnel, accounting for more than 40% of new jobs. “Manufacturers of microelectronic products, optical solutions and robotic systems created 528 jobs, which is more than 40% of the total in 2020. The growing cluster of medical technologies, equipment and biopharmaceuticals is also among the leaders in hiring personnel - companies in this industry have created 198 jobs”, pointed out Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. At the enterprises of the Moscow SEZ, more than 200 candidates and doctors of sciences are engaged in design, roll-out and manufacturing providing high technological level and competitiveness of the companies. According to Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow qualified personnel is attracted by a decent level of labor remuneration. In 2020, the average salary at SEZ enterprises was about 80 thousand rubles. Favorable working conditions are provided by the SEZ resident status.
