Residents of SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" patented 16 inventions in 2021

Last year residents of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) "Technopolis Moscow" received 16 patents for inventions and utility models. This was reported by Vladimir Efimov, Vice-Mayor of Moscow for Economic policy and Land-property affairs. "In the special economic zone of Moscow for 2021 residents registered 16 more patents for inventions and utility models. These include new microelectronics, medical X-ray and breathing equipment, installations for chemical research and other innovative products", - Vladimir Efimov said. For example, one resident patented a wireless radio beacon for monitoring the work of employees in the fuel and energy complex, petrochemical and gas-chemical enterprises, and the mining industry. Another resident registered a radio-frequency tag for marking and accounting for facilities in harsh environments. Another company developed a simulator for training medics in the use of ventilators, which will go into mass production as early as this year. Most of the patents last year were received by the enterprises of the cluster of high-tech industries of the Moscow SEZ. On average its residents annually declare about 15-20 new inventions and useful models", -added Vladislav Ovchinsky, the Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy. Along with patents in the Moscow SEZ last year also registered other results of intellectual activity. "Innovation activity is one of the key components of SEZ companies' activity, which can focus on invention thanks to modern infrastructure and convenient logistics.
