Residents of SEZ Technopolis Moscow paid more than 1,3 billion rubles to the budget in the first six months of 2022
In the first half of 2022 residents of a special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow transferred to the regional and federal budgets a total of more than 1.3 billion rubles in taxes. This was reported by Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov. «Capital companies demonstrate resilience to external challenges, despite the sanctions pressure. They find new suppliers and markets, continue to develop their production sites, develop and implement high-tech products and strengthen industrial cooperation. This is confirmed by a significant volume of tax revenues from enterprises. For example, in the first half of this year, residents of the Moscow Special Economic Zone have directed almost 800 million rubles to the city treasury, and about 580 million rubles to the federal budget. This is comparable to the volume of tax revenues over the same period of 2021», – said Vladimir Efimov. He reminded that special support measures were introduced for the SEZ residents. In particular, they are exempt from property, transport and land tax for 10 years. The income tax rate for such enterprises is only two percent, these funds go to the federal budget. Also in SEZ Technopolis Moscow there is a regime of free customs zone, the companies have an opportunity to rent land at a reduced rate. As a result, for the first six months of this year residents of the Special Economic Zone in Moscow have saved almost 400 billion rubles on taxes. «The largest part of tax payments in the first half of 2022 came to the sector of microelectronics, optics, robotics and industrial automation - more than one billion rubles. In general, since the launch of the Special Economic Zone of Moscow in 2006, the volume of tax payments by its residents exceeded 17 billion rubles, of which about 6.2 billion rubles went to the city budget», – said the Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow Vladislav Ovchinsky. In addition, in January – June this year the volume of insurance premiums has increased. Resident companies paid about one billion rubles on them. «This indicates a steady growth in the number of employees at enterprises operating on the territory of the special economic zone of Moscow. For the first six months of this year resident companies have created 700 new jobs. Today almost nine thousand people are employed there», – General Director of SEZ Technopolis Moscow Gennady Degtev noted. ________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
