RESIDENTS OF ALABUSHEVO SITE SEZ "TECHNOPOLIS MOSCOW" INVESTED 5.5 BILLION RUBLES IN 2021

Companies - residents of the special economic zone (SEZ) "Technopolis Moscow" for 2021 invested 5.5 billion rubles in high-tech production facilities located at the Zelenograd site "Alabushevo". This was announced by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations. The Alabushevo site of the Moscow SEZ in 2021 showed significant growth in key indicators. The investments of its residents for the year reached 5.5 billion rubles, which is 45 percent more than in 2020, when a total of 3.8 billion rubles were invested, and 72 percent more than in 2019, when residents invested 3.2 billion rubles,” said the deputy mayor. About three dozen enterprises are located on the site of the SEZ in Zelenograd - about a third of the total number of residents of the Moscow Special Economic Zone. “Most of the annual investment at the Alabushevo site in 2021 was made by manufacturers of medical devices and medicines, which invested more than four billion rubles in their projects,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. Along with the growth of investments, the number of employment increased by 47 percent at the Zelenograd site of the SEZ in 2021. According to Gennady Degtev, the CEO of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, residents created 360 jobs last year, and 244 in 2020. Compared to 2019, this rate has increased six times.
