Resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow will launch a new import-substituting production of cutting tools

A company INT LLC, tenant of Technopolis Moscow will launch a full-cycle production of cutting tools in Alabushevo site starting the plant construction this June, declared Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow.  “A new tenant will place a full-cycle production in Technopolis – from the components and expendable materials to ready-to-use instruments – carbide tipped bandsaw blades and circular saws. New production of the capital city enterprise will make Russian producers depend on the import of this type of goods much less. The cost of the project is 408.3 million Rubles. The company plans to create over 40 working places”, added Alexander Prokhorov. Alabushevo site attracts potential tenants by its developed transport infrastructure and close location to the main customers and suppliers, said Gennady Degtev CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “The company INT LLC will start the construction of manufacturing and office buildings by the end of June, anticipating the launch of the new plant in mid-2022. The status of a resident company also gives the company the right for lower income tax rate and property tax exemption. This saving provides for the opportunity to improve the quality of the ready-to-use items and to develop competitive price advantage”, pointed out Gennady Degtev. The company plans to manufacture and supply up to 40% of products to the cutting tools market of Russia, shared Mikhail Syrkhaev, CEO of INT LLC. “The consumption of cutting tools covers mainly the enterprises of engineering, aircraft construction and shipbuilding sectors. These products are also necessary in the production of building materials. INT intends to fill 25-30% of the market of carbide tipped bandsaw blades and up to 40% in the segment of circular saws.
