Resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow will increase the production of engineering parts for import substitution in the industry

A resident of the Special Economic Zone Technopolis Moscow, the Additive Engineering company, has expanded its equipment fleet in order to increase the production of engineering parts for industrial enterprises, including as part of import substitution. This was announced by the head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of the city of Moscow, which is part of the Complex of economic policy and property and land relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky. “Responding to the need for import substitution in the industrial sector, a resident of the capital's special economic zone expanded its production line with new equipment for 3D printing - photopolymer printers. About 27 million rubles were spent on their purchase. In this way, the company will be able to meet the growing demand of enterprises from various industries for engineering parts, for example, in case products for electrical engineering, some of which are not available on the Russian market. First of all, this concerns the areas of metalworking, mechanical engineering and aircraft building,” Vladislav Ovchinsky added. Additive technologies provide fast and cost-effective production. For example, the production time of one impeller - a screw installed inside a pipe - is reduced from four months to three days, and the cost of its production is reduced by a factor of 20. In addition, 3D printing makes it possible to create high-quality domestic analogues of foreign engineering parts in a short time. Even large products can be made on 3D equipment. They are divided into several parts, and later assembled into a single whole. In addition to meeting the needs of the industrial sector, the company plans to increase the production of blanks for aligners - dental caps for bite correction. First, a three-dimensional survey of the jaw is performed and several models of it are created at each stage of correction, including the final one. Then the whole set is printed, on the basis of which the aligners are made. It takes only 12 hours to create one batch of blanks from 200 models. “The company received the status of a resident of the Moscow Special Economic Zone in 2020. Today it has a wide range of tools to perform tasks in all industries. The company's equipment park includes 18 modern 3D printers. The company has already invested more than 100 million rubles in the development of its production at the Pechatniki site,” said Gennady Degtev, CEO of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. ________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ]  and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
