Resident of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" transfers the production of electronics from China to Russia

The developer and manufacturer of electronic and telecommunication equipment Delta Solutions has launched the transfer of its production facilities from China to Russia, to the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow. The company’s new factory is basing on its subsidiary DS Electronics which has a resident status of the Moscow SEZ, said Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. The company’s investments in the high-tech complex for the fabrication of switches, server motherboards and servers will amount about 370 million rubles. These devices will be mainly consumed by various agencies and large state and commercial firms in Russia. At the moment Delta Solutions is designing the site and selecting technological decisions for the future complex. After the enterprise’s commissioning which is planned for the end of 2022 year the production will be completely localized in Russia. “The server equipment manufactured by Delta Solutions will be demanded in the creation of high-performance electronic systems for digitalizing the domestic economy, including for building DATA centers. After reaching the design capacity, the company plans to occupy 10% of the Russian server market and 5% of the motherboard market” – said the Head of the Department. The enterprise to be localized in the special economic zone of Moscow will become the first Russian production with a full cycle of assembly of the most advanced printed circuit boards, noticed Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “Delta Solutions expects to create at SEZ a robotic line equipped with unique high-performance equipment. This will allow the production of a wide range of strategically important domestic radio electronics for the country.
