Resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow purchased equipment for the innovation center in Alabushevo

The developer of energy-efficient engines Sovelmash has purchased machine-building equipment for its innovation center, which is being built at the Alabushevo site of the special economic zone. The launch of the center is scheduled for 2021 as informed by Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “The company continues the construction of the center for the design and production of asynchronous motors in the Moscow SEZ. To optimize the timing of its launch, the resident has already purchased machine-building equipment, which will be delivered to the temporary Sovelmash site in Zelenograd in April 2021. It will be integrated into a production line of small-scale batches of electric rotating machines. The development of production processes and training of employees will begin there in April-May. By the way, this is not the first project for the company: the developer has already created a laboratory for testing electrical rotating machines and simultaneously is conducting about 46 development projects”, said Gennady Degtev. The construction site already has the concrete foundations of the future innovation center, a construction camp, the outdoor lighting and the necessary temporary roads. In addition, the resident has purchased all the necessary equipment of the first stage to form production sites and create jobs. This comprehensive work will allow the company to start developing engines for the needs of customers in the housing and utilities sector, transport, mining and energy as soon as possible after the commissioning of the facility. The complex with an area of more than 14 thousand square meters will include an administrative and utility and engineering part, as well as an experimental production site. The volume of investments in the project exceeds 600 million rubles. The center will employ about 80 highly qualified specialists.
