Resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow provided 15 regions of Russia with new disinfection equipment

More than 100 new endoscope disinfection units were sent from SEZ Technopolis Moscow to medical institutions in 15 regions of Russia. The innovative equipment was developed by TZMOI, a SEZ resident, said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The equipment is applied for automatic washing and disinfection of any flexible endoscopes, including bronchoscopes. It significantly reduces time and improves the treatment quality of endoscopes used for COVID-19 patient examinations. "Development of the new unit began last year, and in just six months the company managed to reach commercial production and in the same year delivered the first 13 units to doctors. As of today, 100 units have already been sent to medical institutions. The equipment is used in more than 15 regions of Russia - from Moscow and the Moscow Region to the Southern Federal District, the Middle Volga region, Siberia, and the Far East," said Gennady Degtev. Collaboration between SEZ residents helped optimize the timeframe for bringing this innovation to life, from the idea to serial production. The company NCC and Goodwin Concern also were involved. By order of TZMOI, they manufactured baths for endoscope treatment, control panel covers and other components. Being 100% localized on the territory of Technopolis Moscow SEZ, TZMOI is able to manufacture and deliver equipment within a short period of time - one month.
