In mid-April, a resident of the special economic zone of the capital, Diagnostika-M, patented a device for X-ray irradiation of blood. Investments in this development - from the idea to the prototype - amounted to about seven million rubles as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. “The company's patented X-ray blood irradiation device eliminates the biological activity of donated blood, reducing the patient's risk of rejection. It will be useful at blood transfusion stations, in the treatment of blood pathologies, including oncology, as well as during bone marrow transplant operations. The first test samples have already been released, their state certification is underway”, clarified the Head of the Department. Diagnostika-M has been a resident of the special economic zone of the capital since December 2019 reminded Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “The company focuses on the development, creation, production and supply of innovative search and inspection and X-ray equipment used in microelectronics and medicine. Diagnostika-M actively invests in the creation of innovations, patents its unique researches and launches them into a series. There are 10 patents in the company's portfolio”, pointed out Gennady Degtev. Among the latest objects of intellectual property is a patent obtained at the end of 2020 for an X-ray inspection device for microelectronic products. Currently, preparations are underway for the start of its industrial production said Vladimir Usachev, CEO of the company. “The new device is able to control the assembly quality of printed circuit board elements. Such devices have not been previously produced in Russia. Investments in the development of X-ray control of microelectronic products exceeded 20 million rubles. The company expects to release at least ten such devices by the end of 2021”, he said. In total, by the end of 2020, the residents of SEZ Technopolis Moscow received 175 patents for useful models and inventions. Among the leaders are representatives of the microelectronics cluster - Mikron with more than 50 patents, ELVIS - about 40, the Research Institute of Molecular Electronics - more than 30. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
