A resident of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, Photoexpert, launched a printing house at the site in Pechatniki with its own IT system for processing orders and managing the printing process. The capacity of the complex will allow printing 50 million photographs and 1.5 million photo books per year as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. “The company has been a resident of the special economic zone of Moscow since 2019. This year, on an area of more than five thousand square meters in Pechatniki, the company launched a printing complex, involving more than 80 pieces of equipment and its own IT system for processing orders and managing the printing process. The complex's capacity will allow printing 50 million photographs and 1.5 million photo books per year”, said the Head of the Department. According to Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow the company focuses on mass printing of photographs and the production of customized photo albums, books, souvenirs. “The resident owns the largest park of digital printing machines and post-printing equipment in Russia with a high level of productivity and automation. For 15 years of operation, the company has won 80% of the country's market in its segment. Localization in a special economic zone opened a preferential tax and customs regime for the resident, provided comfortable logistics due to the convenience of the location of the site and will serve as effective cooperation with other members of the technological community”, he added. The technological process in the company hardly involves personnel. The operation is automated and carried out according to certain codes. For example, matching the barcodes determines the alignment of the cover and the block. This is possible due to the presence of high-tech equipment: finishing, printing, binding and stitching. This technique allows you to instantly reconfigure and perform each subsequent product with individual technical characteristics. As a result, it is possible to print ultra-small runs on a production scale. The clients are more than one thousand printing houses and corporate clients in the B2B and B2B2C segment. The online service also saves a lot of time in accepting and processing orders. Users have the ability to create any design, share and edit layouts online on the site or through an offline editor, as well as using an application for users of smartphones on the IOS and Android platforms. The order is made and delivered as soon as possible throughout Russia, where 15 thousand pick-up points are open. “Every day we strive to come up with something new, improve and automate existing processes. Working in the Moscow SEZ helped us to optimize technological processes, which affected the quality and lead times.
