Resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow increased the production of medical devices by 20 percent

The launch of the new Russian brand YULE in 2020 made it possible to increase the volume of products manufactured by Inkoro as informed by Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. In the new brand’s product line the SEZ resident produces ureteral stents and percutaneous nephrostomy kits. The company's activities are aimed at import substitution. The market for these medical devices in 2020 is estimated at minimum 100 thousand pieces and 80 thousand pieces, respectively, and only 20 percent is Russian-made products. Inkoro anticipates that the demand for these types of products in the next two years will grow by about 5-6 percent. “The company focuses on the production of consumables for urology. At the site in Pechatniki in 2017, the company localized a line for the production of specialized medical products of the European brand Rocamed. With the launch of its own Russian brand on the market in summer 2020, the company has already increased its production by 20 percent compared to 2019. In particular, 11,000 ureteral stents have already been produced. Products are delivered to all regions of Russia, including Moscow”, pointed out Gennady Degtev. With a new Russian brand, Inkoro declares itself as a domestic manufacturer, keeping the traditions of European quality added Andrey Kondratyev, the CEO of the company. “The factory in Moscow uses Rocamed's original production protocols and inspection procedures for finished products. The quality of the products, the convenience of their use in a clinic and the comfort for the patients correspond to their foreign counterparts. Imported raw materials are used, but the production of products is carried out in the SEZ Technopolis Moscow.
