Engineers of the company-resident of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone have developed the first completely autonomous and eco-friendly city bus stops in the capital, which are equipped with solar panels and touch screens. While it’s creating, domestic solutions in the field of microelectronics were used. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov. «Transforming urban life towards innovation, as well as caring for the environment are important tasks in which enterprises of the high-tech industry sector are actively involved. It is represented by 31 companies in the Moscow Special Economic Zone. The total volume of their investments in their own production for several years exceeded 30 billion rubles. For example, one of the residents has recently developed autonomous, eco-friendly city bus stops equipped with solar panels. The company created it using domestic solutions in the field of microelectronics. It invested more than 25 million rubles in its project», -- emphasized Vladimir Efimov. It is told here about the company NexTouch. All smart stops of the enterprise are equipped with devices for wired and wireless charging of smartphones, an environmental monitoring system and operational communication with city services. They also have built-in induction systems – these devices will help hearing-impaired people to know about the arrival of the flight they need. «The first batch is intended for export – it will include 20 closed stops and 50 open waiting areas. Until the end of 2022, all 70 kits will be manufactured and sent to Spain. At the same time, the resident of the Moscow SEZ is already preparing for serial production an extended version of devises adapted to the climate of the capital», -- added Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Department of Invested and Industrial Policy. Stops from this series are equipped with solar panels of higher power. They will ensure round-the-clock operation of sensors and touch screens. Built-in sensors will monitor noise levels, air pollution, temperature and humidity, automatically transmitting the information received to the situation centers. This will allow people to quickly respond to any emergency and ensure the comfort of people, for example by raising the heating temperature during a sharp cold snap. Information about the arrival and movement of vehicles will be displayed on touch screens, and a navigation interface based on geographic information system will allow planning a route in advance. Stops will also help in the organization of cultural leisure – the sensor will be supplemented with information about nearby cultural objects and attractions, as well as city posters. In general, the company plans to produce stops of two types: opened and closed, equipped with three and five screens, respectively. «NexTouch, which represents the advanced segment of the microelectronic industry, has been a resident since 2017.
