The resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow, Medplant, has produced 3.7 thousand units of medical devices for resuscitation and patient monitoring in ten months of 2020, which is two times higher than the figures for the entire 2019 as informed by Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “The Medplant company specializes in the production of medical equipment for emergency medicine, including equipment for ambulances. In ten months of 2020, the manufacturer has increased the production of pulse oximeters to 3,738 pieces, which is twice the volume of the entire last year. Earlier, devices for measuring the pulse and blood oxygen saturation level were used only by medical institutions, today they are purchased by private individuals. During the same period, the production of portable syringe dispensers has tripled to nearly 800”, underlined Gennady Degtev. Supplies of medical devices for emergency care and patient monitoring this year have covered more than 30 federal subjects, including Moscow specified Konstantin Nevsky, Deputy CEO of Medplant. “Large parties were sent to the Ulyanovsk, Tula, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod regions. The increased demand for medical devices and, in particular, for pulse oximeters this year, was quickly satisfied by domestic products. In addition, the market has been filled with Asian-made devices, which are widely offered to consumers in online stores. Competition is fierce, but the dynamics of our deliveries indicate that medical institutions are choosing officially registered measuring devices, whose readings are recognized as accurate as possible and can be included in the patient's medical history, as is the case with our devices”, he underlined. He also added that among the manufactured products there is a first aid set awarded to the winner of the Championship of the Union of Emergency Medicine Physicians, held on November 22, 2020 in the Leningrad Region. Medplant, founded in 2000, localized its production in SEZ Technopolis Moscow in 2014, and four years later received the status of a resident. Since 2018, the company has invested more than 47 million rubles in the production and has manufactured products for almost 2 billion rubles. In total, 7 manufacturers of medical products and equipment operate on the territory of the Moscow special economic zone - the companies ELTA, TZMOI, Orthomoda, INKORO, Chirana+, Liberec Rus, Lasmedtech. In 2021, it will launch the Gematech facility, which will produce import-substituting medical products for ostomy patients. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
