The company is a resident of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow in 2021 has developed almost 150 types of electronic products. 29 of them - new types of microcircuits - have already been launched. They are used in the transport sector, power industry and other industries. This was announced by Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of Moscow. “The oldest Russian microelectronics enterprise Angstrem has developed almost 150 types of electronic products in 2021: microcircuits and power electronics devices. Some of the products are now at the testing stage, and 29 new types of microcircuits have already been put into production. Among them are digital-to-analog converters, power intelligent drivers, signal processing chips. Such electronics is vital for the modern transport sector, power grids and industry. For example, it is used in public transport engine control systems, in liquid crystal displays of electricity meters in the housing and utilities sector, at power transmission substations, in industrial welding machines,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky. In general, during its work on the territory of the SEZ since 2017, the enterprise has invested more than 240 million rubles in the development of production. In just 59 years of work, the plant has created more than 10 thousand types of microcircuits. Angstrem has a full cycle of production of power electronics - transistors, diodes, power modules and drivers for them. “Relying on the infrastructural and logistical advantages of the special economic zone, the resident has significantly increased production volumes and revenue. Last year, the company sold products worth 1.8 billion rubles on the domestic market, which is 50 percent more than in 2020,” said Gennady Degtev, CEO of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The Angstrem enterprise began production of microcircuits in 1964, initially the electronics were used for on-board computers of the spacecraft of the Lunar program. In the 1970s, the plant began to produce the country's first microprocessors, including those for personal computers and microcalculators. Along with the production of microcircuits, new technologies are being actively developed at the plant in the Moscow SEZ. The company introduced one of these in 2021 for control chips for high-voltage displays up to 240 volts. They allow you to switch the signals of equipment with a high voltage, such as televisions. Now the enterprise is developing a technology for manufacturing microwave microcircuits based on ultrathin silicon, which is not available in Russia yet. It is used at higher frequencies and also for signal processing and communication in spacecraft. ________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
