Resident of SEZ Technopolis Moscow increased labor productivity by 1.5 times

Resident of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow JSC TZMOI, medical equipment manufacturer, during the first phase of implementation of the national project Labor productivity has increased 1.5 times the rate of items production per one specialist. This was reported by the General Director of SEZ Technopolis Moscow Gennady Dyogtev. As a pilot stream, the enterprise optimized the production process of products included in the list of the most important and vital medical equipment - cabinets for drying and storing therapeutic equipment in sterile conditions for six months. "Productivity experts and company employees took an inventory of the warehouse and identified storage locations for each item, which helped minimize the time spent searching for components and reduce downtime. In addition, monitoring of the finished and semi-finished product output plan was implemented, which reduced overproduction. Thanks to this process time was reduced by 33 percent: if before it took 252 hours to produce one cabinet, now it takes 168 hours. Incomplete production in the flow has decreased by 30 percent," Gennady Dyogtev explained. In the near future lean production methods applied at the pilot stream will be replicated at other areas of the enterprise. This will allow the company to save over 110 million rubles in the next five years and spend it on expanding the production area. The Productivity national project is a measure of state support of business, which allows to increase the volume of production and reduce the production costs without additional costs. In Moscow the national project has been realized since the beginning of 2022.
