The graduates of the university are of special importance for the enterprises of all four Zelenograd sites of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. In 2023, the university received a record number of applications for training - more than 5.6 thousand within the framework of the admission campaign. This result is 25 percent higher than in 2022," said Vladislav Ovchinsky. The highest competition for budgetary places is noted in the directions: Information Systems and Technologies, Applied Informatics, Informatics and Computer Science and Information Security. The average score in one subject has also increased in comparison with last year, exceeding 78 points. The record-breaker in terms of the number of applications for budgetary training was the direction Informatics and Computer Science - more than three thousand applications were submitted exclusively here. In 2023, more than 55 percent of the total number of entrants considered budgetary training in the framework of specifically this specialty. "Great interest applicants also showed great interest in the direction of Electronics and nanoelectronics". For admission was required to have the results of the Unified State Exam in physics, and the direction itself was allocated the largest number of budget seats - 141. The passing score here became the highest since 2020, exceeding 194, and the average score of those enrolled - 219. This is evidence of the growing interest of applicants in core engineering specialties," said Gennady Degtev, Director General of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Almost 60 percent of applications for studies were submitted via the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services (UPSU), about 15 percent - remotely, through the personal account of the applicant on the official website of NIU MIET. The record-breaker in the ratio submitted applications/number of budget places was the direction Information Security - each budget place was claimed by at least 25 people.
