The resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) «Technopolis Moscow» increased the volume of production of components of microelectronic devices for navigation by eight times. This was announced by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, which is the part of the Complex of Property and Land Relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky. «One of the residents of the SEZ is actively expanding the production of sensitive elements for inertial sensors included in short navigation systems, which allow the object to navigate the space. For the first half of 2022, the company’s manufacturing volume reached 80 million rubles, this is eight times the level of the same period last year, when the production was released for about 10 million rubles», – said Vladislav Ovchinsky. «Mapper» company is foundry – contract production of microelectromechanical (MEMS) plates according to the customer’s specifications. In Moscow SEZ the company creates MEMS-elements for various devices. For example, accelerometers, gyroscopes, pressure sensors, controlled micromirrors, high-frequency filters, micro-switches and inertial sensors, which are used in navigation systems. The economic preferences available to residents of the capital SEZ, as well as modern infrastructure and logistics on its sites, help companies to develop extensively. «The resident, who has invested more than 100 million rubles in its production in the EPZ of Moscow since 2018, reported a five-fold increase in the number of intra-Russian orders from 2020 to 2022. The company, which employs more than 60 specialists, has the opportunity to produce up to 10 thousand plates with chips per year.
