In the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone, preparations for cell therapy will be produced in the fall of 2022. They will be delivered to medical clinics, burn centers and disaster medicine centers. This was announced by Vladimir Efimov, Vice-Mayor of Moscow for Economic policy and Land-property affairs. "A resident of the special economic zone of the capital – a manufacturer of preparations for cell therapy has completed the construction of its plant and is preparing to start mass production by autumn. He plans to produce up to 70 thousand units of products per year for clinics, burn centers and disaster medicine centers. The investment in the project has already reached 240 million rubles," Vladimir Efimov said. New biomedical cellular products are used in the treatment of long-term non-healing wounds, ulcers and extensive burns. They allow to recover the skin in a short time and without scarring. The Akrus BioMed plant, which is expected to open in the autumn, will employ 50 people, said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department. "Construction work has been finished, in the near future the site will be fully equipped and its commissioning will begin," - he added. Akrus BioMed has been a resident of the special economic zone since 2019. The infrastructural and logistical conditions of the site of the capital's SEZ in Pechatniki prompted the resident to choose a site with an area of more than 820 square meters for the creation of his plant here, said Gennady Degtev, CEO of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The high-tech production will meet modern GMP standards. According to the cleanliness class of the premises, the enterprise uses multi-stage air filtration systems, as well as ultraviolet radiation. "A dispatching project has also been implemented at the production site. One technical specialist will be able to monitor various parameters in real time, from temperature and pressure inside clean rooms to monitoring systems and fire protection elements," explained Maxim Suchkov, Chief Engineer of Acrus BioMed. According to the company's statements, contract production of biomedical cell products of various compositions and purposes, as well as their components, will be possible on its universal equipment. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ]   Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ]  and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
