Part of the industrial zone "South Port" will be part of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow

The Moscow government allocated 616.5 million rubles to expand the territory of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The corresponding resolution was signed by Sergei Sobyanin. The funds will be used to purchase the rights to lease land plots located at the intersection of Yuzhnoportovaya Street, Shosseiny and 3rd Ugreshsky passages. The land plots are part of the South Port industrial zone being reorganized. The maximum building parameters of these land plots are 145 thousand square meters of production space, which will create 1.8 thousand jobs. The estimated volume of private investment will be 3.7 billion rubles. Created in 2006, the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone consists of five sites with a total area of ??223 hectares. The SEZ employs about 200 tenants and residents who have created more than eight thousand jobs. The total investment exceeded 59 billion rubles, and the amount of taxes paid amounted to 15.6 billion rubles. The SEZ site in Pechatniki includes 402.6 thousand square meters of production space, of which 96.2 percent is occupied by tenant companies and residents. The infrastructure includes an administrative office and logistics center, a congress center, production facilities with clean rooms for biopharmaceuticals, robotics and microelectronics, a customs post and a temporary storage warehouse. The total number of tenant companies is 136. During the existence of the site, more than 40 innovative companies, including representative offices of Russian-foreign joint ventures, have become its residents. 4.9 thousand jobs were created at the SEZ site in Pechatniki. The volume of off-budget investments reached 30.9 billion rubles, taxes paid - 3.1 billion rubles. Currently, several projects for the integrated development of the territory of the industrial zone "South Port" are being implemented. Their total area is almost 90 hectares.
