The innovative industries of the special economic zone of Moscow and the main areas of its work were presented to the participants of the business mission from Germany as informed by Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “During the presentation, German entrepreneurs got acquainted with the working conditions of enterprises in the special economic zone of Moscow, its sites and the innovative potential of localized companies. The businessmen were introduced to the possibilities of working in greenfield and brownfield formats, and also told about the focus areas of enterprises. For example, the clusters of ICT and microelectronics have more than 40 resident companies. Their revenue in the first half of 2021 alone totaled almost 10 billion rubles, including 365 million rubles from export supplies. The business mission supplemented the tradition of international meetings in the Moscow SEZ when representatives of the Middle East and Asia visited the sites of the special economic zone this year”, mentioned Gennady Degtev. The business mission of German companies in the Moscow SEZ was organized by the Russian-German Foreign Trade Chamber. The event was held online. German business was represented by more than 10 companies: industrialists and entrepreneurs from the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate, known for its developed chemical, pharmaceutical, automotive and engineering industries, as well as agriculture. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the region, the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce, the Management Company of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The capital's SEZ contributes to the development of foreign economic relations of the capital both in the field of international trade and in terms of the localization of technologies. On the sites of the Moscow SEZ, there are branches of world brands representing solutions in the field of transport, robotics, pharmaceuticals, energy efficiency management. Among them are such well-known companies as Bartholet, ABB, Merck, Schneider Electric and others.
