Norilsk airport to be equipped with equipment from the Technopolis Moscow SEZ

Diagnostika-M, a resident of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, has developed and manufactured a large-size inspection unit for the airport of Norilsk, the world's northernmost city with a population of over 150 thousand people, said Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. "The equipment allows to "scan" large packaged and palletized cargoes weighing up to five tons. The introscope created by the company, due to its increased dimensions, enables you to check the cargo directly in large packages without disassembling them. Such unit was produced in Russia for the first time," added Alexander Prokhorov. The new introscope is a biplane machine, which scans cargoes simultaneously from two different angles with the help of a high-power X-ray unit. This significantly reduces inspection time, optimizes the work of airport services and increases the probability of detecting dangerous or prohibited substances. "Diagnostika-M actively develops and implements innovations in the field of X-ray equipment. The products manufactured by the company find their application in various spheres: from security systems to medicine", said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.   "The company's active implementation activities fully fit the concept and spirit of the capital's special economic zone. The production of a new inspection introscope confirmed it yet once more. The specialists of the company Diagnostika -M managed to go all the way from the first blueprints to production in a record four months. Similar work for foreign companies takes about nine months," explained Gennady Degtev.   Diagnostika -M produces complexes, special equipment for cargo inspection and detection of dangerous and prohibited items and substances, as well as medical devices based on the work of X-rays. The company's equipment is used for security in transport, for customs inspection, as well as at strategic facilities and institutional checkpoints.
