New residents of SEZ Technopolis Moscow will invest more than 9,5 billion rubles in production development

Since the beginning of 2022, nine innovative companies have become residents of the special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow. They intend to invest more than 9.5 billion rubles in the development of their own productions. This was reported by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations. «This year, the residents of the capital's special economic zone are the manufacturers of medical products and equipment, pharmaceuticals, radioelectronic products, electrical engineering and microelectronics, as well as automated monitoring and control systems for telecommunications networks. The declared volume of their investments in the development of their enterprises exceeds 9.5 billion roubles. It is planned that almost a thousand people will be able to work at the new production facilities», – said Vladimir Efimov. The SEZ resident status will allow companies to save on taxes. As a result, they will be able to direct the released funds to the development of new innovative products and expansion of production capacities. «Companies from the medical equipment sector and biopharma are planning to invest the largest amount of funds in development - over five billion rubles in total. The developer of information and communication technologies intends to invest about 2.7 billion rubles», – added Vladislav Ovchinsky, the Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow.
