The resident of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow, the company Medplant, exported 300 bags for medical instruments and medicines to the Republic of Moldova. They are supposed to equip ambulances in Chisinau said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “This is already the second delivery of equipment for the ambulance service, carried out by the Medplant company to Moldova, the first batch of 450 bags was sent to this country in 2017. Thanks to the new delivery from Moscow, Chisinau will have the opportunity to update equipment in more than half of the city's ambulances”, said Gennady Degtev. Medplant sells its products both directly and via dealer centers, ten of them located in Russia and one in Kazakhstan. Medplant sends about a thousand bags annually to the CIS countries, primarily to Kazakhstan, for emergency medicine services: ambulance, disaster medicine, mobile rescue teams, first aid stations, as well as medical and preventive institutions of various types. The Medplant company, founded in 2000, localized its production on the territory of SEZ Technopolis Moscow in 2014, and four years later received the resident status which provides tax and customs benefits, allows for new developments and the production of highly effective first aid and emergency medical services. The bag is an orange suitcase for medicines and medical supplies, which ambulance doctors take with them when visiting their patients. The first kit for ambulance doctors was developed by Medplant in 2000, later the company received a patent for it. Since then, this equipment has been repeatedly modernized: doctors, disaster medicine workers, military doctors, rescuers and volunteers have taken part in the development.
