Moscow manufacturer of medical equipment will receive benefits from the city
The company Chirana + has received the status of a resident of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow and plans to invest 66 million rubles in the development of the production of medical equipment in the SEZ as informed by Vladimir Efimov, Vice-Mayor of Moscow for Economic policy and Land-property affairs. “In total, there are more than 20 large and medium-sized enterprises in Moscow that produce medical equipment and instruments. In the first nine months of 2020, they shipped goods of their own production for 11.2 billion rubles, which is 12.7% more than in the same period last year. Resident status allows companies to receive benefits and to invest the saved funds in their production. The new resident of Technopolis has already invested 26 million rubles in modern production of medical equipment and plans to spend another 40 million rubles by 2022”, said the Vice-Mayor. Chirana +, which produces artificial lung ventilation devices, has been operating at the site in Pechatniki since mid-2018, and last year the enterprise launched its production there. The company now holds 10 percent of the domestic ventilator market and 7 percent of the anesthesia and respiratory machine market. The enterprise's capacities allow producing more than 300 units of medical equipment per year. “Investments in the development of production will allow the new resident of Technopolis to increase production capacity up to 288 ventilators and 192 anesthesia and respiratory devices per year in three years. To do this, next year the company plans to almost double the number of workers from 23 to 37 people”, cleared out Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. By the end of 2022, the company also plans to start serial production of lung simulators, disinfection frames, equipment for disinfecting goods and modular monitors. “The planned production volume of the company will reach 800 units of medical equipment and disinfecting equipment per year. The resident's products are already supplied to the state and private healthcare centers in the country. Since February, Chirana + has supplied more than 150 ventilators and 20 anesthesia and respiratory devices to hospitals and clinics in Russia. Also in April, the company donated two thousand units of expendable materials for ventilators to the hospital No. 40 in Kommunarka”, reminded Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The status of a resident of the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow enables the company to significantly save on taxes and other compulsory payments every year: the company will have access to a reduced profit tax rate, duty-free imports and a zero rate on property and transport. The company plans to use the funds saved in the budget to improve material and technical support, create new developments and training programs. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
