Moscow enterprise increased production of flu and coronavirus tests ninefold

Company from the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow has increased the production of express tests for detecting coronavirus infection and the flu nine times in three months. This was reported by Vladislav Ovchinsky, the Нead of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, which is part of the complex of economic policy and property and land relations of the capital. «The manufacturer from Technopolis Moscow, a special economic zone, has increased production of coronavirus detection tests, as well as single kits for COVID-19 and the flu, by nine times in three months. This will make it possible to replace imported analogues on the market. Thanks to this company Imbian Lab will significantly expand the geography of supplies to foreign markets», – said Vladislav Ovchinsky. The Head of Department added that for three months the company also increased by 1.5 times the number of supplies of rapid tests for COVID-19 antigen, lgG/lgM antibodies to detect influenza and coronavirus to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Donetsk. «We strive to make the diagnosis of infectious diseases - influenza types A and B, as well as COVID-19 - as simple and fast as possible. Timely diagnosis determines the tactics of treatment, which can shorten the duration of the disease and reduce the risk of complications. In addition, prompt detection of infection will help stop its spread», – said Veronika Osipova, CEO of the developer company Imbian Lab. The company occupies 2,500 square meters of premises on the Alabushevo site of the Moscow SEZ. Laboratories, production areas and an office for employees are located there.
