Moscow company to supply innovative optical transformers to Canada
The company Profotech - a tenant of special economic zone Technopolis Moscow will supply its products to HydroQu?bec - the world largest manufacturer of hydro electronics. A set of optical current transformers is engineered for a pilot digital substation on the river Saguenay (Canada). “The production of electronic equipment is well developed in Moscow industry. Last year the index of electronic equipment production in the capital city reached 134.4%. On the whole enterprises supplied goods for the amount of RUR 88.8 billion”, informed Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of the City of Moscow. “Profotech has been the tenant at SEZ Technopolis Moscow for two years saving up to 47 % on taxes and other mandatory payments per year. During this time the company has managed to go worldwide – France, Finland, Italy, the Netherland, Canada and Middle East”, said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Optical transformers of Profotech ensure high-accuracy data of the quantity measured in a digital format saving energy a lot. “HydroQu?bec has been testing different optical transformers at its facilities in Montreal for two years.
