Resident’s of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow equipped the capital's transport system with inspection equipment, including metro stations, MCC, bus stations and other facilities. This was announced by Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital. “In the first half of 2022 more than 20 new anti-vandal X-ray units have been added to the park of inspection equipment of the Moscow metro. Thus, the total number of equipment for ensuring the safety of passengers of the Moscow metro, produced by a resident of the capital's SEZ, was about 700 units,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky. Diagnostics-M not only produces new inspection equipment, but also within the framework of the winning tenders annually held by the Moscow Metro, provides service as its inspection equipment, but also products of third-party manufacturers, including its life-cycle repair as well as further utilization of products. “Diagnostics-M has invested about 190 million rubles in its production on the territory of the capital's SEZ, where almost 150 specialists work. In 2021 the enterprise produced about 740 units of various types of high-tech inspection equipment. At the same time, the enterprise has production facilities for multiplying the volume of production and is ready to fully cover the needs of Moscow transport with certified installations and devices,” said Gennady Degtev, CEO of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The company plans to launch mass production of new equipment by the end of the year, which has no analogues in Russia and abroad. It will allow separate detection of prohibited items made not only from metals, but also from carbon fiber, which are used to make concealed weapons. Diagnostics-M equipment provides anti-terrorist security in transport and in crowded places. For example, X-ray machines scan luggage at large passenger flows, and portable detectors can detect explosives in the form of vapors and particles.
