More than 700 new workplaces have been created in six months in SEZ Technopolis Moscow

Residents of SEZ Technopolis Moscow created more than 700 new workplaces in January – June 2022. This was announced by Vladimir Efimov, Vice-Mayor of Moscow for Economic policy and Land-property affairs. "Today, 90 high-tech companies are residents of the special economic zone of the capital. In the first half of 2022, they created more than 700 new jobs for the city, and for the entire period of activity in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ – almost nine thousand. The total number of employees working in the territory of the special economic zone has exceeded 12 thousand," Vladimir Efimov said. Residents of the five sites of the special economic zone of the capital create modern electronics and radio equipment, medical and IT equipment, new composite materials, energy-efficient solutions and their own software. "Most of the new jobs in the first half of 2022 were provided by companies engaged in the field of microelectronics, optics, robotics and industrial automation. Now 31 residents of the special economic zone belong to this area. In six months, these enterprises have created 298 new jobs for citizens," said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department. The creation of new jobs in the special economic zone is facilitated by the economic preferences for residents operating there, added Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Thus, companies are spared from having to pay taxes on property, land and transport.
