MORE THAN 700 MILLION RUBLES WERE RECEIVED AT THE CITY BUDGET FROM RESIDENTS OF THE SEZ TECHNOPOLIS MOSCOW

Residents of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow transferred 704 million rubles to the city budget in the first quarter of 2022. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov. "Resident companies of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ paid 704 million rubles of tax deductions to the Moscow's budget in the first three months of 2022. It is more by 17 million rubles compared to the first quarter of 2021 when the amount reached 687 million rubles. Enterprises located in the SEZ Technopolis Moscow continue to actively develop existing production sites, build new production facilities, develop and introduce products, as well as sell them in the regions of Russia and abroad," Vladimir Efimov said. The deputy mayor also emphasized that in total during the operation of the SEZ – since 2006 – its residents have transferred more than 16.6 billion rubles to the city budget. Most of the tax payments in the first quarter of 2022 fell on the cluster of microelectronics, optics and radio equipment – 534 million rubles. At the same time, the volume of insurance premiums paid by residents of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow has almost doubled compared to the same period last year. "According to insurance payments in the first quarter of 2022, residents of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow paid 555 million rubles – almost twice as much as in 2021, when payments reached 281 million rubles. This is a clear example of the constant growth in the number of employees at the enterprises of the SEZ. Over the past year and the first quarter of 2022, 1.7 thousand new jobs were created here. To date, the number of employees of the enterprises in the SEZ Technopolis Moscow has exceeded 8.5 thousand people," said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. In addition, since the beginning of the year, residents of the SEZ have managed to significantly save on taxes. "In the first quarter of 2022, resident enterprises received a tax benefit of 187 million rubles.
