More than 50 teams will take part in all-Russian radio communication competitions in SEZ Technopolis Moscow

At the end of October the special economic zone of the capital will gather young scientists, students and postgraduates of leading universities, as well as specialists in the field of radio communications within the framework of the All-Russian technological competition in promising areas of radio communications «Radiofest-2022». To date, applications for participation have already been submitted by 50 teams from 11 cities across the country. This was reported by CEO of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow Gennady Dyogtev. «Alabushevo platform of the Moscow special economic zone on October 28-30 for the fourth time will host student teams, young scientists and radio amateurs from all over the country. Such competitions give an opportunity to test their knowledge and gain valuable professional skills. This year, about 100 participants will compete in three categories: Radio Interception, Radio Communication and Cognitive Radio. On the final day there will be an awards ceremony», – said Gennady Dyogtev. The organizers of Radiofest-2022 are the Advanced Research Foundation, Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and National Research University Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology (NRU MIET). Not only teams of higher education institutions, research institutes, industrial companies, but also groups of amateur radio enthusiasts can take part in the competition. «Radiofest-2022 is a platform for sharing experiences in the most promising areas of science. Communication in this format helps to motivate students and gives an incentive to further development of the industry. Participation in the competition is free, and no expensive equipment is required to prepare for the competition tasks. This widens the range of potential participants», – said Alexey Zhelobaev, Head of the Competence Center for End-to-end Design of Information Control and Radio Engineering Systems at NRU MIET. He added that applications from teams are accepted until October 25.
