As part of the Technotourism project, more than 100 excursions were held at the sites of the special economic zone of the capital in 2022. 3.5 thousand people took part in them. This was announced by Gennady Degtev, CEO of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “Excursions to the enterprises of the Technopolis Moscow are an opportunity for hundreds of muscovites and guests of the capital to see how Moscow industry maintains a balance between tradition and innovation, how modern production is changing. During this year, about 3.5 thousand people visited the enterprises of the SEZ Moscow, more than 100 excursions were held. This clearly demonstrates the interest of muscovites in the economy of the city and the country as a whole, in innovation and high technology,” said Gennady Degtev. Today, the SEZ Moscow offers everyone five new unique industrial and tourist routes. "In the footsteps of Ivan Fedorov" clearly demonstrates the development of the printing business from its origins to the most modern technologies and equipment. The route "Internet and communications: where is it stored and how is it created" will clearly show what is behind the mysterious concept of "World Wide Web", what professions are in demand on it. Three more are devoted to medical technologies, the microelectronic industry and modern high-tech materials. The route "From history to high technologies" will help the young generation to navigate the world of new professions, to form an image of their future career. “I like it when people have interest in their eyes. Students and schoolchildren see the entire production process: from scratch to shipment of the final product. I think that such excursions are very useful. The youth should see what to strive for. It makes me happy when they ask questions about the production and professions that are in demand here,” emphasized Maksim Isaev, head of the production of electronic devices at the Scientific Entertainment company, a SEZ resident. Twenty five enterprises operating on the sites of the SEZ of the capital have already become participants in the Technotourism project. In April 2022, this project of the Moscow Special Economic Zone was awarded the For Familiarity with Innovation award by the All-Russian Industrial Tourism Accelerator. And recently, the most active participants in the project were awarded in the metropolitan SEZ. Among them are Mapper, Additive Engineering, Neoros, Medplant, Ekoplast, Fotoespert and others. One of the awardees was Pavel Yakushev, administrative director of the Nanotechnology Center for Composites. “Excursions are always positive emotions. Of course, it is not easy for an industrial enterprise to receive large groups of tourists. But we understand that we are doing an important job for those guys who would like to become engineers, technologists or specialists in composites in the future. There were even such stories when, after excursions, students returned to us for practice and work,” said Pavel Yakushev. Some residents of the metropolitan SEZ are successfully developing their own tourism projects. For example, the Mikron plant has become one of the leaders in industrial tourism in Russia, the best enterprise in the country in the “Introduction to Innovation” category. During the year, the chip factory received more than 1000 tourists, seven new tour routes were opened. Also on this day, the ceremony of Initiation into residents was held for four new enterprises - Legoplast, NPO Scaner, the Analog Solutions design center and Electric Vehicles Manufacturing Rus. Perhaps in the near future, tourists will be able to see how Russian ultrasound machines, eco-friendly plastic pallets and city electric trucks are made. ________________________________________ Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ] and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
