Companies - residents of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow created over 1.4 thousand new workplaces in the first nine months of 2022. This is twice as much as in the same period last year, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy, Property, and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov. “Today, 91 high-tech companies have the status of a resident of the special economic zone of the capital. In January-September 2022, they created over 1.4 thousand new jobs in Moscow. In total, these enterprises employ more than nine thousand people. At the same time, the total number of employees of the special economic zone of the capital has already exceeded 12 thousand,” said Vladimir Efimov. Innovative enterprises located in five sites of the special economic zone of the capital develop and manufacture radio and microelectronics, laboratory and medical equipment, high-tech building materials, energy-efficient systems and IT technologies. “Most of all workplaces - almost 860 - for the period from January to September 2022 were provided by companies engaged in the microelectronics, optics, robotics and industrial automation industries. Now 33 enterprises from these areas have the status of a resident of the special economic zone of the capital,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department. To help residents find talented and ambitious employees, and Moscow students and novice specialists to get their first professional experience in a modern company, a special TechnoRabota project is being implemented in the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “Currently, 69 employers are participating in the TechnoRabota project, whose production facilities are localized on the territory of the metropolitan SEZ. About 300 current vacancies of resident enterprises are presented on the website of the Moscow Special Economic Zone at a time. Also, 55 companies offer internships to students,” said Gennady Degtev, CEO of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. The creation of new workplaces in the special economic zone of Moscow is facilitated by economic and customs preferences for residents. Such companies are relieved of the need to pay taxes on property, land and transport.
