Mikron launched new RFID tags for metal

A tenant of the special economic zone of Moscow, the company "Mikron" has developed and launched into serial production of RFID tags for metal marking as informed by Alexander Prokhorov, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial policy of Moscow. RFID tags are intended for use in the automation of operational and technological processes, in logistics, infrastructure and other systems that require marking of metal surfaces, equipment, parts, tools and other identification objects. “More than 50 large and medium-sized microelectronics manufacturers work in Moscow, employing more than 25 thousand people, and Mikron is one of the industry leaders. The company's product line includes more than 200 types of various RFID tags. Its products are used for various tasks, including accounting and inventory, automation of warehouse and trade logistics, in financial, educational and medical institutions in Moscow and other regions. The new solution is aimed at automating many work processes and is addressed to small and medium-sized businesses due to affordable price and ease of use”, pointed out Alexander Prokhorov. The new development confirms the status of "Mikron" as one of the leading technological industries in the special economic zone of Moscow stated Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow. “The enterprise has about 90 patents for inventions and certificates of state registration of intellectual property objects, which testifies to its innovative character. The manufacturer is constantly expanding its product range, ensuring the digitalization of business and urban infrastructure. The new metal markers are a prime example. The status of a resident of the SEZ of Moscow allows the company to use the preferential tax and customs regime for a more effective implementation of its projects, including the introduction of new technical solutions in the interests of industry, the city and the convenience of its residents”, underlined Gennady Degtev. New marks work on both metal and glass surfaces stressed Sergey Ranchin, Deputy CEO for production of Mikron. “For this product, we have designed a five-level structure that provides stable reading on metal surfaces as well as glass containers with liquids. Mikron's product portfolio includes 6 metal tags, both packaged and self-adhesive, which provides a good range of functionality for automation tasks that are now relevant for everyone”, said Sergey Ranchin. RFID-tagging has a number of important advantages, including group and blind reading at a distance, reliability  and resistance, the possibility of personalization, unforgeability, which makes it a convenient tool wherever it is necessary to digitize physical objects - from factories and farms to stadiums, libraries and shopping centers. ---------------------- Press service of the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" Phone: +7 916 516-15-46 Mail: pr@technomoscow.ru [ mailto:pr@technomoscow.ru ] Subscribe to the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" in social networks, follow the main news of the SEZ in telegram-channel [ https://t.me/technopolismoscow ]  and receive all the most important news delivered to your mail in our weekly newsletter [ http://events.technomoscow.ru/subscribe/?utm_source=site_technomoscow ] .
